Sun Pharma is preparing to launch a new Oncology Business Unit in Mexico as part of the continued expansion of its global Brand Generics Specialty Business.
We are seeking a senior commercial leader with an entrepreneurial mindset, strong business acumen and demonstrated experience building and launching oncology franchises in the Mexican market.
This role offers the opportunity to establish the business from the ground up, define its strategic direction, build a high-performing organization and position Sun Pharma as a trusted partner for healthcare professionals, institutions and patients.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute the short-, medium- and long-term
strategy for the Oncology Business Unit
in Mexico.
Lead the successful launch, positioning and commercial development
of the oncology portfolio.
Assume full responsibility for the
Business Unit's P&L;
, revenue growth and financial performance.
Develop the go-to-market model
, organizational structure and resource allocation strategy.
Build, develop and lead a high-performing multidisciplinary oncology team.
L
ead business planning, forecasting, portfolio prioritization and lifecycle management.
Ensure strong alignment between Commercial, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain and Finance.
Establish relationships with key opinion leaders
, medical societies, healthcare institutions and strategic stakeholders.
Identify market opportunities, competitive risks and potential barriers to adoption.
Drive launch readiness and execution excellence across all relevant functions.
Ensure compliance with corporate policies, ethical standards and applicable Mexican regulations.
Represent the Mexico Oncology Business Unit before regional and global leadership teams.
Candidate Profile




Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, Medicine or a related discipline.
MBA, master's degree or postgraduate business qualification preferred.
At least 12 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Significant leadership experience within Brand Generics Oncology, Hematology, Specialty Care products.
Demonstrated experience leading successful pharmaceutical product or franchise launches in Mexico.
Proven experience managing a Business Unit, franchise, therapeutic area or commercial operation.
Strong knowledge of the Mexican public and private healthcare markets.
Solid understanding of market access, pricing, reimbursement, institutional business and specialty products.
Proven P&L; management and financial planning experience.
Strong people leadership, organizational design and talent development capabilities.
Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed, multicultural and rapidly evolving organization.
Advanced English proficiency.
