This position provides operational support for Randstad US Risk Management with primary responsibility for insurance administration (approximately 75%) and secondary responsibility for claims administration (approximately 25%). The role serves as a key liaison between internal business partners, customers, insurance brokers, and third-party administrators to ensure timely, accurate insurance support while assisting the Claims team with administrative activities.

The adecuado candidate is a proactive, self-motivated individual who possesses excellent critical thinking skills to tactfully resolve customer issues, analyze contracts, and work independently with limited direction in a remote environment.

Responsabilities

Insurance Administration

- Administer Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and Evidence of Insurance requests.
- Review contracts and insurance requirements to ensure certificates accurately reflect required coverage.
- Partner daily with insurance brokers to obtain endorsements, policy information, and certificates.
- Coordinate insurance requests from field operations, sales, legal, procurement, and customers.
- Route contract insurance reviews to appropriate Risk, Safety, or Legal resources.
- Track insurance requests to completion while meeting service level expectations.
- Review insurance documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Code, reconcile, and monitor insurance invoices through payment.
- Maintain Riskonnect and other insurance systems with accurate records.




- Identify process improvement opportunities and support testing/system enhancements.
- Participate in Risk, Insurance, and Safety meetings and special projects.
- Develop knowledge of U.S. commercial insurance coverages and contractual risk transfer.

Claims Support

- Provide administrative support to the Claims team.
- Maintain claim documentation and system records.
- Assist with subpoenas, correspondence, reporting, and file organization.
- Cross-train on workers' compensation and claims processes.
- Provide backup support during absences and assist with departmental projects.

Education & Qualifications (Required and Preferred):

- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in insurance, claims, risk management, contract administration, or a related field preferred.
- Strong Google Workspace and Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to analyze contracts, prioritize work, and work independently in a remote environment.
- Customer-focused with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Key Competencies:

Proficient with basic computer software tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google and claims management systems.

Strong customer focus, detail oriented, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Experience in claims, insurance or workers' compensation preferred.

Ability to demonstrate critical thinking

Decision Making Authority:

Exercises independent judgment in prioritizing insurance requests, coordinating broker activities, identifying contractual insurance issues for escalation, and recommending process improvements.
