Environmental, Health & Safety Manager Location: Reciente León, México
We are seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of environmental, health, and safety programs within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for fostering a proactive safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting operational excellence through effective risk management and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities

- Lead site EHS initiatives to promote a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible workplace.
- Partner with operational leaders to identify risks, implement preventive measures, and drive continuous improvement efforts.
- Ensure compliance with applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations, as well as internal standards and policies.
- Develop and deliver training programs that strengthen employee awareness, engagement, and accountability in EHS matters.
- Monitor EHS performance metrics, analyze trends, and implement action plans to achieve site objectives.
- Lead incident investigations and corrective action processes to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
- Support environmental compliance activities and sustainability initiatives across the site.




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and external partners to ensure safe and compliant operations.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of EHS programs and recommend improvements that enhance operational performance and risk reduction.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement by promoting best practices and employee involvement throughout the organization.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience leading EHS programs within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of environmental, health, safety, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience developing safety culture initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced English required.
