Objectives: 1. Ensure compliance with the ESD annual plan, protect sensitive components from damage, and ensure compliance with the standard ANSI/ESD S20.20.
Design, implement, and monitor the ESD control program at our sites to prevent damage to sensitive components.
Responsibilities:
1. Periodically verify that electrostatic protected areas (EPAs) comply with the international standards ANSI/ESD S20.20.
2. Use specialized equipment to measure the resistivity of floors, workbenches, shelving, and chairs, ensuring they dissipate static charge properly.
3. Implement, audit, and maintain an electrostatic discharge control program to prevent damage to sensitive electronic components.
Abilities:
1. Experience conducting technical audits
2.
Ability to investigate the root causes of ESD-related product or process rejections and implement corrective actions.
3. Ability to use and manage ESD diagnostic instruments.
4. Ability to train, certify, and raise awareness staff regarding ESD best practices
5. Ability to document the administrative and technical rules and regulations applicable to the plant’s ESD Control Program
