In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Your role and responsibilities
- Responsible for leading the strategy and execution of change management for the Procurement and Sales processes as part of a large-scale digital transformation involving the implementation of SAP S/4HANA (serving as the primary point of reference for change management in these business areas) and ensuring that the procurement, sourcing, sales, and commercial management teams effectively adopt the new processes, tools, and ways of working resulting from the transformation.
- The role works closely with functional leaders in Procurement and Sales, process owners, and SAP teams; translates the impacts of process redesign into concrete adoption plans; manages organizational resistance in areas with a high volume of users and high operational criticality; and ensures that the transition to the new operational models for purchasing, sourcing, supplier management, ordering, and the commercial cycle is carried out without business disruptions.
- In addition, the role leads the execution of the change plan for their areas—coordinating superusers and change agents in Procurement and Sales—designs and implements communication, engagement, and training initiatives tailored by profile and role, and reports progress, risks, and adoption metrics to the program’s Change Management Leader.

Required technical and professional expertise
- Extensive experience in Change Management, Organizational Transformation, or Process Consulting, with proven participation in digital transformation or ERP implementation projects in Supply Chain, Maintenance, Warehouses,
Logistics, or Distribution areas, and sufficient functional knowledge of these processes to anticipate impacts, manage conversations with operations leaders, and design relevant and contextualized change interventions for operational and technical profiles.
- Especially experienced in S/4HANA projects covering modules such as MM, WM/EWM, PP, PM, TM, or S/4HANA Asset Management and Supply Chain, in manufacturing, consumer goods, chemical, or distribution companies with highly complex operations, with exposure to multi-site environments including production plants, distribution centers, and geographically dispersed maintenance teams.
- Ability to manage managerial and executive-level stakeholders in operations, plant, and logistics areas.
- Ability to adapt language and change approaches to operational populations with low prior exposure to digital transformations.
- Strong competencies in facilitation, communication, and leadership of change agent networks in environments with high operational pressure, plant continuity, and accelerated transformation.
Preferred technical and professional experience
- Exposure to AI Applications: Familiarity with applying AI concepts to business transformation and change management, including leveraging AI-driven insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Behavioral Science Knowledge: Understanding of behavioral science principles and their application in organizational change management, enabling the cultivation of essential leadership qualities and attitudes.
- Human-Centered Design Thinking: Exposure to human-centered design thinking and its role in developing innovative solutions that prioritize human needs and experiences.
