About the Role

Seeking an experienced Project Manager II (Cybersecurity) to lead new build security initiatives planned to launch in April. This role will drive the planning and execution of multiple Microsoft security and identity platform implementations, ensuring coordinated delivery across security, identity, infrastructure, and digital workplace teams.

This is a hands‑on project delivery role with full accountability for timeline, scope, dependencies, risk management, and stakeholder communication. The Project Manager will be responsible for guiding these initiatives through phased implementation and ensuring a smooth transition to a modern, integrated security and identity platform throughout FY26.

Operating Environment (Critical Context)

- This role supports net‑new cybersecurity build initiatives

Key initiatives include:

- Microsoft E5 / Entra Suite rollout
- Microsoft Sentinel implementation
- Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) capabilities

Delivery requires tight coordination across:

- Security Operations
- Identity teams
- Infrastructure
- Digital Workplace
- External partners and vendors

Work is deadline‑driven and dependency‑heavy, with material operational and end‑user impact if not well coordinated

(Agencies should look for candidates with enterprise cybersecurity project experience, particularly with Microsoft security and identity platforms.)

Required Skills & Experience (Must‑Haves)





- 5–8+ years of experience in IT project management
- Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise cybersecurity or identity initiatives
- Strong understanding of Microsoft security and identity platforms, including:
- Microsoft E5 / Entra
- Microsoft Sentinel
- Identity Governance & Administration (IGA)
- Proven ability to manage:
- Complex, dependency‑heavy projects
- Cross‑functional delivery teams
- External vendors or partners
- Strong planning, organization, and execution skills
- Experience producing:
- Detailed project plans
- Status reports
- Executive‑level communications
- Ability to operate independently and drive delivery accountability
- Experience working in regulated, security‑sensitive environments

Strong candidates will:

- Have hands‑on experience leading new build cybersecurity projects
- Be highly structured and execution‑oriented
- Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and delivery impacts
- Communicate clearly and confidently with technical teams and executive stakeholders
- Be comfortable driving accountability across multiple teams
- Anticipate operational and user impacts and plan mitigations early
- Deliver predictably in high‑visibility, security‑critical initiatives
