Leading multinational manufacturing company is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead Environmental, Health & Safety operations within a metal-mechanical manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and strengthen EHS programs and safety culture across operations.- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.- Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety regulations (NOM-STPS, Civil Protection, emissions, water discharges, waste management, COA, etc.).- Lead ISO 14001 certification activities.- Manage significant risk assessments, contractor safety, and high-risk activities (LOTO, confined spaces, work at heights, hot work).- Coordinate emergency response plans, safety brigades,
and EHS audits.- Monitor leading and lagging EHS indicators and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.- 3+ years of EHS leadership experience in the metal-mechanical manufacturing industry.- Strong knowledge of Mexican EHS regulations and ISO standards.- Experience with hazardous waste management, electrical safety, and industrial risk prevention.- Advanced English desirable.
