Film Scene Description Specialist (AI Training)

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role ideal for anyone with a keen eye for how stories are told through the lens. No professional film industry experience required — just a genuine appreciation for visual storytelling and the ability to describe it with precision.

What You'll Do

- Watch short film or video clips and break them down into structured, beat-by-beat visual descriptions
- Describe camera movement, framing, shot composition, pacing, blocking, and spatial relationships
- Convey mood, atmosphere, and emotional tone using purely visual indicators — no dialogue references
- Follow standardized formatting guidelines to produce consistent, high-quality scene summaries
- Re-watch clips as needed to ensure accuracy and completeness




- Maintain quality and consistency across a high volume of scene descriptions

Who You Are

- Genuinely interested in film, television, cinematography, or visual storytelling
- Able to articulate what you see on screen with clarity and precision
- Strong structured writing skills with an eye for detail
- Methodical and consistent — comfortable following formatting guidelines at scale
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
- No formal film education or industry experience required

Nice to Have

- Background in film studies, screenwriting, photography, or visual arts
- Experience with video production, editing, or cinematography
- Familiarity with cinematic terminology (shot types, camera movements, mise-en-scène)
- Experience in content annotation, quality assurance, or structured writing
