The Senior Procurement Buyer is responsible for filling purchase orders, working alongside inventory management and other internal departments, forecasting sales by item, analyzing trends and inventory based on historical data and monitoring sales performance.General ResponsibilitiesLeads the supply chain manager through maintaining proper inventory levels of materials used on a regular basisResponsible for the filling of purchase ordersReviews all purchasing requisitionsLeads in the development of creating an accurate and efficient monitoring systemResponsible for entering data into databases or other computerized systems to maintain up-to-date supplier and vendor information, to track purchases and the status of orders and deliveries, and to generate purchasing reports and statisticsLeads research on potential suppliers and vendors; promotions, and other industry trends as a source of accurate and up-to-date information for purchasing activitiesExperience / QualificationsA university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree)
