PROJECT ENGINEER – GREENFIELD SITEFunction: EngineeringScope:Project Engineering – Construction / Greenfield ProjectLocation:Monterrey Area (Salinas Victoria, Nuevo León) / On SiteGeneral DescriptionThis role is responsible for coordinating the technical and engineering aspects of a project from planning through execution and startup, combining engineering expertise with project management skills.
The Project Engineer ensures effective coordination of multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and according to scope and quality standards.ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle, from concept through commissioning.Provide on-site supervision during construction, installation, startup, and commissioning phases.Ensure project deliverables meet technical specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, local regulations, and contractual obligations.Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Quality, Operations, and SHE.Review and validate engineering drawings, calculations, and technical documentation.Develop and promote creative solutions to engineering challenges and project risks.Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and innovative solutions.Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting activities.Promote a strong safety culture to achieve an accident-free project.Must HaveBachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience in engineering, construction, project execution,
