**Project Objective**
Provide support for internal administrative activities and processes, as well as the laboratory's self-management operations
**Challenges for the Students**
- Adapt to an agile work environment, requiring rapid learning.
- Understand and become familiar with administrative processes.
- Manage multiple tasks, activities, responsibilities, and projects simultaneously.
- Integrate into the laboratory's work dynamics.
- Attend follow-up meetings for activities and projects.
- Perform in a cement laboratory work environment (manual operations, standing for extended periods).
- Strong visual, oral, and written communication skills: preparation of reports and presentation of results.
**Main Responsibilities and Activities to Be Carried Out**- Support activities related to the management of the laboratory's administrative processes.
- Maintenance, Calibration, and Verification Plan for equipment.
- Procurement and inventory management of consumables.
- Sample registration.
- Expense reporting.
- Internal document control.
- Internal communication.
- Support for operations.
- Activities related to Health and Safety.
- Organization of spaces and equipment in general.
- Collaborate in laboratory tasks: sample preparation, chemical and physical analysis, and material characterization.
**Specific Requirements / Qualifications**- Health and Safety: Demonstrates care and responsibility for personal well-being and that of colleagues within operational areas.
Acts in accordance with CEMEX's Health and Safety guidelines.
- Attention to detail, with a strong ability to organize ideas and concepts clearly.
- Ability to structure and organize information effectively.
- Time management and organization of workload and schedule.
- Oral, written, and visual communication skills (presentations, reports).
- Self-directed, highly motivated, and capable of prioritizing responsibilities and tasks.
- Strong analytical and data organization skills; ability to synthesize information and present results and project updates.
- Physical capability to work in an operational environment with potential physical risks (materials testing and preparation laboratory).
- Ability to lift weights within standard limits: up to 20 kg for women and 25 kg for men.
- Independent learner, capable of quickly acquiring knowledge and performing tasks autonomously while following established protocols.
- Negotiation skills, supplier management, procurement coordination, inventory control, and supplier sourcing.
- Computer skills: MS Office, SAP, and digital design tools.
- Preferred qualifications: Lean principles (Lean Manufacturing), ISO standards, 5S, Toyota Production System, web page design, and Microsoft SharePoint.
