**Job Details**:
The Electrical Validation Engineer Intern contributes to the functional, power and performance, and/or electrical validation of Intel's silicon products.
In this role, you will support debug activities, performance characterization, and validation coverage to ensure product readiness, reliability, and overall quality.
**You may also assist in**:
- Developing or improving test automation
- Performing data collection, analysis, and reporting of validation metrics
- Supporting the development of validation infrastructure, scripts, and tools
- Setting up, executing, and maintaining test environments used across validation labs
**Responsibilities**
- Execute electrical, functional, and/or performance validation tests on silicon components.
- Assist in debugging electrical issues and documenting findings.
- Analyze large datasets to extract validation metrics, trends, and insights.
- Develop or modify automated test scripts to support validation execution.
- Help maintain test setups, measurement equipment, and validation environments.
- Collaborate with cross ‐ functional teams including design, validation, and architecture.
- Support day ‐ to ‐ day validation activities and contribute to continuous process improvement.
**Qualifications**:
Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronical Engineering, System Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent field.
- 6 months of experience in hardware for data center platforms.
- Advance English level.
- Must have unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico (this role is not eligible for visa or immigration sponsorship).
**Preferred Qualifications**:




- Basic knowledge in the use of measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, or logic analyzers.
- Self-driven, proactive, and able to work with mínimal supervision.
- Basic understanding of platform-level configuration.
- Foundational knowledge of computer links and interfaces, including Ethernet, USB2, eMMC, SATA, PCIe, USB3, and other I/O technologies (highly desirable).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
Basic to intermediate skills in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Bash).
