**Key Responsibilities**:
- Plan and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons aligned with ASF's mission and curriculum.
- Foster students' physical literacy, teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership skills.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs, abilities, and developmental stages of students.
- Use meaningful assessment practices to monitor student progress and provide feedback.
- Maintain safe and organized learning environments and ensure proper use of equipment and facilities.
- Encourage student participation, goal setting, and reflection related to fitness and wellness.
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student learning and progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional learning communities and curriculum development.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student progress.
- Contribute to the broader Athletics and Extended Learning programs, including extracurricular initiatives.
**Qualifications**:
**Education & Certification**
- If prepared in an English-speaking country: Bachelor's degree plus a valid teaching certificate (state/province/national) or equivalent certification pathway.
- If prepared in Mexico: Licenciatura in Physical Education, Education, or Pedagogy with valid cédula cualificado (SEP/UNAM-approved program).
**Preferred**
- Experience with IB PYP, IB Diploma, or AP programs.
- Experience in international or bilingual schools.
- Bilingual: English and Spanish.
**Experience & Skills**:
- Minimum 2 years of successful teaching experience in Physical Education at the elementary, middle, or high school level.
- Strong curriculum planning and lesson differentiation skills.
- Effective classroom management and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and professional growth mindset.
