**Your Job**
Join our team as a Financial Cost Engineer at Molex Guadalajara, and play a key role in driving operational efficiency, supporting cost reduction initiatives, and ensuring precise control over costs across all our manufacturing processes.
You'll work closely with the engineering, finance, and purchasing teams to develop robust cost models and provide strategic insights that enable informed decision-making.

**What You Will Do**
- Develop and maintain detailed cost estimates for projects, products, and manufacturing processes.
- Analyze cost drivers and recommend savings measures to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including engineering, purchasing, and finance-to ensure cost data accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in risk analysis related to costs and production.
Provide timely cost reports and variance analyses to stakeholders.
- Support production ramp-up activities and product launches with accurate cost data.
- Participate in supplier negotiations and evaluate make-or-buy decisions from a cost perspective.
- Actively support 5S, EHS, Quality, and Lean programs by adhering to all approved practices and procedures.
- Fulfill responsibilities specified in any control plan associated with this position.
**Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)**
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Finance or a related field,
or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in administration, control, and maintenance of plant/operations cost structures.
- Proficiency in designing cost structures for new part numbers and preparing budgets for new projects.
- Familiarity with calculation and review of standard costs.
- Experience with inventory variation methodology.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate assertively and proactively analyze cost variations.
- Advanced user of SAP (HANA, ECC, R3, FI-CO), Microsoft Office (Excel, Access), and data analysis tools such as Power BI.
- C1 level English proficiency (Effective Operational Proficiency).
