We are hiring a** Supply Management Analyst** to analyze fabric requirements and place purchase orders with suppliers in North America.
Plans the sequenced production and delivery of fabric.
May expedite orders as necessary to meet customer demand, schedule deadline or department priorities.
Communicates and updates order status such as changes, cancellations, delivery deadlines and all pertinent information regarding the order.
**What You Will Be Doing**:
- Analyze material requirements and place Purchase Order with suppliers in North America
- Plans the sequenced production and delivery of material to ensure meeting the requested delivery date.
- Communicate and update order status such as changes, cancellations, delivery deadlines and all pertinent information regarding the order.
- Expedite orders as necessary to meet customer demand, schedule deadline or department priorities.
- Acts as primary liaison between supplier and Steelcase for material purchasing.
- Provides feedback on data integrity issues and business processes that impact or are impacted by the data delivered.

**Who You Are**:
**Required Skills** and Competencies**
- Bachelor's degree in International Business, International Affairs, Industrial Engineers, or in a related field.




- Advanced English is a must.
- +2 years of previous experience in a similar role
**Desired Skills and**Experience**
- SAP experience is preferred.
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Smartsheet knowledge is desired.
- Strong ability to analyze, conceptualizes, and logically organizes database information with high degree of precision and accuracy.
- Requires a working knowledge of the material purchasing function and overall manufacturing processes.
- Good analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated customer service passion and a willingness to go extra mile
- Ability to work well under pressure meeting scheduled deadlines and make good business decisions.
