**Position Duties/Responsibilities**:
1. Understand and document trade compliance requirements to determine the needs of the business around trade compliance concerns and suggest automated solutions.
3. Interface between business users responsible for Trade Compliance and third-party vendors that implement the solutions in their commercial solutions.
4. Adherence to TE Connectivity best practices and development/project management methodologies.
5. Support Enterprise Applications in adherence to service level agreements (examples include denied party screening, product licensing, product classification, trade compliance reporting, IMMEX processing, Free Trade Agreement qualification, etc.).
6. Analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation (full lifecycle) of smaller automated trade compliance solutions.
**What your background should look like**:
- Education - Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience preferred.




- Prior experience with SAP SD Processes is preferred.
Experience with commercially available trade compliance software is preferred (OCR Ease, SAP GTS, E2Open, MIC, etc.)
Strong technical experience with technologies including Oracle SQL, XML, Integration concepts, and an object-oriented language such as Java or.NET Framework required.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent oral and written communication.
Ability to multitask, working on multiple projects at once, while adhering to established project timeframes.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Project Management experience is preferred, but not required.
Familiarity with SAP ABAP Development is preferred.
