**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Manage and track defects using JIRA ensuring timely resolution and communication with development teams.
- Develop and maintain test metrics and reporting to provide insights into testing progress and quality.
- Utilize SQL for data validation and testing purposes ensuring accurate data transformations.
- **Use Postman for API testing verifying the functionality and performance of APIs.
**:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.
- Execute test cases and document results identifying any issues or discrepancies.
- Provide detailed defect reports and work with developers to resolve issues.
- Participate in test planning and strategy meetings to ensure thorough coverage of all test scenarios.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor junior testers providing guidance and support to improve their testing skills.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in testing.
- Contribute to the overall success of the project by ensuring high-quality deliverables.
**Qualifications**
- Possess strong experience in **ETL Tool Application Testing.
**:
- Have expertise in **Test and Defect Management.
**:
- Demonstrate proficiency in Test Metrics and Reporting.
- Be skilled in using Defect Tracking Tools like JIRA.
- Have solid knowledge of SQL for data validation.




- Experience with **Postman for API testing is required.
**:
- **Experience in Life and Annuities Insurance or Property & Casualty Insurance is a plus.
**:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities are required.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model with day shifts.
- Minimum of 4 years and maximum of 8 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is preferred.
- **ISTQB Certification or equivalent is a plus.
