The team has always been fully remote.
They use MS Teams as the chat and virtual meeting platform.
Each engineer uses their preferred IDE.
Any tools that help you work faster and more effectively are encouraged.
Tickets and the Kanban board are used to organize the work in Jira.
They use a CI/CD approach, releasing changes in small increments as they become ready.
The team holds a short daily stand-up, and engineers work together as needed.
The current backend is primarily built on Java Spring, and the front end utilizes Vue.js (without WebSocket support).
The team is shifting to a more (but not exclusive) API-first serverless approach with a reactive front-end.
They are undertaking this cautiously as being serverless is incredible for many things, but only for some.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- 5+ years of experience with Node.js.
- Experience with Java will be a significant advantage, as we are seeking a software engineer with expertise in multiple programming languages.
Here, we can consider Java Developers with 5+ years of experience who are ready to learn Node.js.
- Knowledge of AWS (AWS API Gateway/AWS Cognito/Lambda).
- Good knowledge of Elasticsearch.
- Understanding of serverless databases and back-end.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and without supervision.
- Quick learner.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with the integration of Microsoft products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Rebuild existing products using API specs already prepared by the current engineering team.




- Work extensively with AWS API Gateway and AWS Cognito, using an API-first interface approach.
- Develop with Node, building the client's API, and integrating it with other APIs (such as Procore, Egnyte, and Autodesk Construction Cloud).
- Participate in team meetings and discussions.
