- We are currently seeking a Director, Proposals to join our diverse and dynamic team.
As a Director, Proposals at ICON, you will oversee and manage the Proposal Department responsible for Proposals covering all (Scientific, Clinical Pharmacology, and Bioanalytical) for ICON Development Solutions.
What will you do:
- Support Business Development in the winning of new business for ICON accounting for more than 50% of new business wins.
- To provide leadership and management of the proposals and bid grid team inclusive of Proposal Managers and Proposal Development Associates.
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives that result in the development of costs and proposals of the highest accuracy and effectiveness, not only within their own Division, but across all ICON Divisions.
- Recognize, exemplify, and adhere to ICON's values which center around our commitment to Partnership, Collaboration, Accountability, and Integrity.
What will you need:
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Must have strong experience in proposal management, business development,



or related roles within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or clinical research industry.
- Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, including study design, conduct, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
