Objective of the role
To carry out a wide range of tasks seeing through from New Product Development and Introduction (NPD & NPI) to Product Commercialization as part of the end-to-end process.
Additionally, you will be trained to be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Liquid Technology and leading out process related troubleshooting activities for Symrise.

**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for products and technologies under the scope of Food & Beverage in Symrise Sorocaba site
- Assess New Product Development (NPD) and be responsible for successful scale up and first productions
- Responsible to provide accurate mixing instructions to production
- Daily presence in the field and support to production
- Contribute to investigation on quality deviations, customer complaints, manufacturing deviations with multi-functional team
- Keep Production operators aware on product and process safety
- Create new working instructions to train on Production operators




- Contribute to product and process optimization to increase profitability
- Ensure best in class First Time Right by proactively troubleshoots during production
- Interface between Research and Development (R&D;), Supply Chain (Customer service, Production, Planning and Procurement), Quality, Engineering, Sales & contractors / supplies to carry out various activities
- Execute qualification and validation of new processes and equipment
Requisitions
- Bachelor degree in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering / Food Science / Food Technology / Pharmaceutical or related fields
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience preferred
- Experienced and passionate in continuous improvement
- Skillful with Manufacturing Systems and Processes
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
- Strong ability to work well in a team and independently
- Excellent IT skills, particularly in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Prior experience with Lean/Six Sigma Improvement is a plus
