This position will use CAD equipment as a tool to design products for the auto industry including doing layouts, detail drawings, assembly drawings, sketches & diagrams.
Details will include all views and dimensions necessary to manufacture products.
This position will create and maintain copies of drawings and information in our product database.
In addition, this position will need a solid understanding of design & drafting techniques and familiarity with engineering terminology.
Experiência y requisitos
- ** Work Experience**: 2-5 years of design and or computer aided drafting.
- ** Education**: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- ** English level**: Advanced
- ** Computer Skills**:Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites as well as Design Engineering software such as Inventor CAD software, AutoCAD version **** or higher.
- ** Organization Skills**: Ability to maintain clean and organized work space; ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects
- ** Cross-functional skills**: Ability to work and handle multiple job assignments; ability to work with and communicate with other departments including Tooling, QA, Engineering and Manufacturing




- ** Communication Skills**: Ability to communicate within a team setting; ability to maintain a professional & pleasant demeanor
- ** Travel**: Some travel required for this role
- ** Visa laser**: Yes
- ** Experience in**: product testing - mechanical and electrical to various FMVSS and related standards.
- ** Experience in**: injection molding, aluminum die cast and electronics / automation
- ** Knowledge and experience in materials -** plastics, cast aluminum, steel, composites preferred
- ** Knowledge and experience in**:GD& T
- ** Knowledge and experience in**: tolerance analysis including Monte Carlo 3D simulations or hand calculations
