**A Day in the Life**:
- Develop use cases to improve detection, alerting, and response capabilities using various tools, technologies, and solutions
- Respond to and analyze data loss and internal threat activity
- Escalate critical findings to Tier 3 Analysts
- Contribute to the development of valuable metrics and key performance indicators
**Keys to Success**:
**Education**:
- Bachelor's Degree in IT, Cyber Security or related field - equivalent work experience acceptable
- IT and/or cybersecurity certifications a plus
**Experience**:
- 1-3 years of IT, cyber, or related experience
- Experience with DLP, SIEM, EDR, IRM, SOAR, and/or UEBA solutions a plus
- Experience as Tier 1 or Tier 2 support a plus




**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**:
- A self-starter who is highly inquisitive with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally with teams
- Ability to make informed analytical judgments and thoroughly detail findings in a written and/or presentation format
- Possess an investigative approach with strong analytic and creative problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with basic Windows and Mac operating system functionality
- Solid attention to detail and organizational skills are a must
- Ability to organize, correlate, and analyze log data using a variety of tools such as Excel, PowerBI, Splunk, etc. a plus.
