At Grupo Bocar, we are looking for an Automotive Direct Procurement Specialist to join our team.
This role will play a key part in supplier management and strategic sourcing of direct materials critical to our operations.
Location: Lerma
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and negotiate with suppliers of direct materials within the automotive industry
Ensure timely availability of materials in line with production requirements
Develop and execute sourcing strategies focused on cost optimization and supply continuity
Monitor and report key procurement KPIs (cost savings, delivery performance, quality)
Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, and Planning teams
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, International Business, Business Administration, or related field
Proven experience in direct material procurement within the automotive sector
Advanced English proficiency (mandatory) for international supplier interaction
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills
