Job Description

The Construction Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring integrated project schedules for large-scale manufacturing and industrial construction projects. This role supports planning accuracy and timely execution across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases using Oracle Primavera P6 or MS Project.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and control the integrated master schedule covering engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC) phases of manufacturing facility projects.
- Prepare, document, and maintain the Basis of Schedule (BoS), including assumptions, constraints, and sequencing logic.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders (owners, EPC teams, contractors, and vendors) to ensure accurate progress updates and schedule alignment.
- Apply resource loading and productivity analysis to optimize manpower planning, equipment utilization, and crew composition.
- Track and analyze Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics, including SPI/CPI, and develop S-curves for performance monitoring.
- Implement and enforce owner and project-specific scheduling standards, procedures,



and reporting frameworks.
- Coordinate schedule integration and progress tracking with General Contractors, subcontractors, and manufacturing equipment suppliers.
- Structure schedule activities aligned with Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and ensure integration with cost control and project management systems.
- Facilitate Interactive Planning Sessions (IPS) / Pull Planning workshops with discipline leads, construction teams, and key suppliers.
- Identify and monitor the critical path and near-critical activities, performing impact analysis and recommending mitigation or recovery plans.
- Incorporate scope changes, design revisions, and field productivity trends into schedule updates and forecasts.
- Generate weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly reports highlighting progress vs. baseline, risks, delays, and recovery strategies.
- Ensure compliance with project controls requirements, safety standards, contractual obligations, and regulatory frameworks applicable to industrial and manufacturing construction.
