About the Company

Our client helps a specific segment of Mexicans — people who started working before 1997 and are within roughly five years of retirement (around age 60) — increase their pension by investing capital in that window, growing their monthly pension from roughly $500 to as much as $3,000.

The company is transitioning from operating as an S.A. (C-corp equivalent) to a SOFOM (a regulated Mexican lending institution), since it now lends clients the capital needed to make these pension-boosting investments. The company has grown quickly, expanding from 40 to 110 monthly financings after launching several new financing offers, and now has around 64–65 team members.

The Role — Internal Recruiter

As the company's internal recruiter, you'll own hiring for a fast-growing, Mexico-based financial services firm currently scaling into a new lending structure. You'll be responsible for building out the team across operations, client success, accounting and finance, business intelligence, marketing, and other specialty functions as the company expands — with sales hiring handled separately, so your focus stays on the full range of non-sales roles.

Alongside internal recruiting, you'll also work closely with the company's fundraising lead to identify and connect with financial advisors, insurance consultants, accountants, and other professionals whose clients could become potential investors in the company's lending operation — this is currently the company's biggest bottleneck, since demand for financing has outpaced available capital. This isn't a fundraising or sales role — the focus is on finding and engaging the right people, not asking anyone for money directly.

The company is also working to bring more structure and formality to its operations (contracts, HR processes, established systems), and while not a strict requirement,

experience helping build that kind of organizational foundation is a strong plus.

You'll manage multiple active searches at once rather than one-off hires, working closely with leadership to define hiring needs, build strong job descriptions, and source confidently across recruiting platforms — including candidates based in South America. This is a chance to shape the hiring function as the company grows quickly, with direct visibility into leadership's priorities and close collaboration during onboarding and early ramp-up.

Value of the Offer

- Core service: pension consulting + capital lending to help individuals in Mexico grow their retirement savings
- Outcomes delivered: clients increase their pension value through a structured consulting and lending process — a specialty financial result not widely offered in the Mexican market
- The company is currently scaling from a C-corp structure into a regulated lending institution (SOFOM), reflecting rapid growth and increasing organizational maturity

Compensation

- Base salary range: 40,000–80,000 MXN/month, depending on experience and seniority
- Plus commission on funds raised through investor connections sourced by this person — commission potential is significant; a comparable internal role currently earns an additional $5,000–$10,000/month in commission on top of base
- Leadership is open to flexing above this range for a candidate who is an especially strong match

We're looking for candidates who:

- Are bilingual in Spanish and English; Mexico-based is preferred (based in or willing to relocate to León is a plus, though not required)
- Have strong, senior-level recruiting experience — the company is currently more focused on filling director-level and A-player roles than entry-level ones, so credibility and seniority in approaching senior candidates matters
- Are strong communicators who can effectively sell the opportunity to candidates, and ideally can run candidate conversations and secure buy-in independently, not just source profiles
- Have recruiting experience, ideally with familiarity in sourcing quality candidates efficiently and at volume
- Are comfortable managing multiple simultaneous searches rather than just a handful of hires a year
- Can build strong job descriptions independently and source confidently across recruiting platforms, including in South America
- Are self-directed but comfortable working closely with company leadership, who want to be closely involved in onboarding and early management of this hire
- HR/administrative experience (contracts, onboarding processes, formalizing company structure) is a plus, though not a requirement

What makes this opportunity compelling

- Niche market with no direct competition — pension consulting backed by capital lending is a highly differentiated financial service offered exclusively in Mexico
- Fast growth — the company scaled from 40 to 110 monthly financings after launching new offers, and now has roughly 64–65 team members
- Meaningful upside — commission on investor connections sourced can substantially increase total compensation beyond base salary
- Full ownership of a growing hiring function — this person builds out hiring for a wide range of specialty roles as the company scales, with close access to leadership
