In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing the Modus Design System, directly influencing the user experience of hundreds of applications and shaping the future of AI‑native engineering across Trimble.

Key Exciting Responsibilities Develop and maintain high-quality Modus Web Components for the Modus design system, leveraging modern component creation frameworks like Stencil JS and styling utilities like Tailwind CSS. Implement and enforce AI‑native development processes by leveraging the existing rules and skills configured within the Modus MCP Server to generate high-quality production code from Figma designs. Ensure all components meet rigorous standards for accessibility (WCAG 2.2), internationalization (I18 N), and responsive design. Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines and automated documentation generation (Storybook) for the component library. Enforce best practices in version control (Git), code reviews,



and adherence to design patterns and atomic design principles. Actively participate in and contribute to Agile/Scrum ceremonies to ensure project alignment and technical excellence. Essential Skills & Experience Experience: 3‑5 years of professional software development experience, with a proven track record in component library creation or design system development. Web Component Expertise: Strong proficiency in building Native Web Components using frameworks like Stencil JS or Lit, and deep understanding of modern CSS/styling (e.g., Tailwind CSS/Daisy UI). AI Native Development: Practical experience with AI‑assisted code generation processes, specifically configuring systems like the Modus MCP Server (or similar tools) using rules and skills to generate components. Frontend Mastery: Strong proficiency in modern Java Script/Type Script, HTML5, and familiarity with component integrations for major frameworks (such as React, Angular, Vue, etc). Design Systems: Deep familiarity with atomic design principles and contributing to or maintaining a large‑scale design system. Dev Ops/Quality: Hands‑on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring high code quality through code coverage (aiming for 100%) and E2 E testing. Methodology: deeply familiar with Agile/Scrum workflows. Preferred (Bonus) Skills Experience in creating and managing design system ‘Recipes’ or themes for product‑specific customization.
