Overview

Senior Security Developer – Cyber Defense Center. Responsible for managing and expanding SOAR and SIEM systems to improve incident response and automate repetitive tasks, strengthening overall security posture.

Responsibilities Collaborate with a global multinational team of cyber security experts. Build and maintain Python-based software for security automation and incident response. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes to ensure efficient development workflows. Mentor junior developers, conduct technical training, and contribute to team knowledge base and best practices. Take ownership of development tasks, ensuring timely completion while meeting quality and functional requirements. Apply software engineering best practices, design patterns, and development methodologies across the team. Design, develop, and implement global cyber security processes, capabilities, and tools. Drive the further development of the Security Monitoring Tool stack (SIEM, APT, SOAR, EDR/XDR, Cloud Security – Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), Darknet Scanning, and AI/ML-based big data analysis. Travel up to 10% (including international) as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an IT field with emphasis on cyber security. Proficiency in writing clean, efficient Python code and adherence to industry best practices. Understanding of software design, architecture, and maintainability. Experience with Git Flow/Git Hub‑Flow, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and unit testing.



Hands‑on knowledge of automated testing and quality assurance processes. Advanced analytical skills for debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing complex software systems. Deep knowledge of IT security domains: SIEM, firewalls, EDR, IDS/IPS, SOAR, vulnerability scanning, endpoint and network forensics, threat hunting. Extensive experience with SOAR products, use case and playbook development for automated SOC operations or vulnerability analysis. Broad understanding of modern IT infrastructure, including AI/ML and big data analysis. Familiarity with security classification frameworks such as MITRE or cyber‑attack kill chain (TTPs). Structured, service‑oriented work style with high self‑motivation and organization.
