We are searching for an accomplished and visionary Lead i OS Software Engineer to head our mobile engineering team. In this role, you will own the technical strategy, architecture, and evolution of our native i OS applications, setting the engineering vision and standards for the entire platform. Working with a modern development stack centered around Swift, you will architect sleek, highly performant, and user-friendly mobile experiences that delight our customers and scale with our business ‑ while leading and growing a team of talented i OS engineers.
You will act as the primary technical authority for the i OS domain, partnering strategically with product managers, product designers (UX/UI), backend leads, and engineering management. You will guide the team through the full delivery cycle ‑ from early concept and technical discovery to a successful launch on the Apple App Store ‑ while shaping hiring, mentorship, and long‑term platform direction.
Responsibilities Define, architect, and evolve the technical vision for our native i OS applications using Swift, making high‑impact decisions that shape the long‑term direction of the platform Establish, champion, and enforce best practices, coding standards, and architectural patterns across the i OS codebase and the broader mobile organization Lead technical roadmap planning for the i OS platform, balancing product needs, technical debt,
scalability, and innovation Collaborate closely with product designers to implement responsive, pixel‑perfect, and highly interactive user interfaces adhering to Apple's Human Interface Guidelines (HIG), while driving design discussions from a technical feasibility and platform‑capability standpoint Design robust integrations with backend services and RESTful or Graph QL APIs, ensuring smooth, dynamic, and resilient user experiences Set the bar for engineering quality: write clean, modular, and maintainable code, lead code reviews, and ensure consistency and craftsmanship across the codebase Define comprehensive testing strategies, including unit and UI tests (using XCTest), to secure application stability. Drive continuous performance, memory, and battery optimization initiatives using Instruments Own the application release lifecycle end-to-end, including build processes, certificate and provisioning management, and submissions via App Store Connect Lead, mentor, and grow a team of i OS engineers ‑ coaching senior, mid‑level, and junior developers, conducting technical interviews, and fostering a high‑performing engineering culture Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders and engineering leadership to influence product roadmaps, drive technical innovation, and align mobile strategy with broader business goals Requirements 5+ years of experience in native i OS application development 1+ years of experience leading teams and technical initiatives on production‑grade apps Expert‑level proficiency in Swift and deep mastery of the i OS SDK and Apple developer tools (Xcode,
