Software Development Engineer, Digital and Emerging Markets Payments MX

The mission of the DEP engineering team at Amazon is to delight our customers in emerging countries (MX, BR, AU, SG, IL, etc.) by building compelling, comprehensive and easy to use payment experiences on these country storefronts. We are looking for passionate software developers to join us in this mission.

As a Software Development Engineer, you will build new microservices or enhance existing products to improve the customer experience on desktop and mobile platforms. You will design and implement scalable components using native AWS services and ensure high availability through appropriate monitoring, alarms, and on‑call support.

3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience. 2+ years of non‑internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) for new and existing systems.



Experience programming with at least one software programming language. Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
