**Material Movement and Shipping Supervisor (Supply Chain)**

**Role Purpose**:
Coordinate the physical flow of direct materials within the company from raw materials, in-process materials and finished products, efficiently managing the resources provided for operations to ensure optimal service that meets the expectations of the company's customers.
**Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate work teams on the production floor.
- Maintain working equipment and warehouses in good condition.
- Reduce the impact of lack of material in production lines.
- Guarantee the reception in time and form of the required materials.
- Coordinate the correct entry and consumption of materials in the system.
- Carry out continuous improvement in production processes.
- Control and optimize logistic flows of materials and information escalation processes to ensure the supply of materials to production lines.
- Ensure optimal supply of materials to production lines by coordinating processes within the supply chain.




- Ensure inventory reliability and coordinate with supply chain solution and new requirements to meet production.
- Communicate situations that jeopardize the fulfillment of the production plan and coordinate work teams with the areas involved.
- Manage personnel and material resources to fulfill all the functions required by the logistics area.
- Lead work teams under Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Disseminate a culture of Order, Cleanliness, Quality and Safety to production personnel.
- Develop technical competencies in the operative personnel.
**Experience and essential qualifications**:
- Minimum education: Engineering or related.
- Minimum experience required: 2 years in warehouse processes, materials department or SC.
- Management of work teams.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Proactivity and effectiveness in solving problems by finding the root cause.
**Essential competences**:
- Knowledge of supply chain.
- Knowledge of inventory management and control
- High sense of urgency.
- Knowledge of MFG-PRO inventory control operating system (or experience in other MRP for inventory control).
- Medium level knowledge of ISO-TS/ISO 14000 quality systems.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
- Knowledge of 5's
- Knowledge of operational controls (procedures) to reduce and control the environmental impacts that generate or could generate the Environmental Aspects derived from the operations and responsibilities of the position.
