This position is responsible for Leading the efficient operations of the Receiving, Shipping, and Staging areas of the Warehouse.
- Ensures all warehouse personnel are trained properly for their job functions as well as the equipment they use.
- Plan, directs and supervises the daily activities of the warehouse.
- Schedules staff to ensure coverage in all areas of the warehouse.
- Disciplines employees when necessary and recommends terminations according to company policies and procedures.
- Administrative duties including scheduling, timecards, maintaining materials inventory and other duties as needed.
- Supervise the performance of all duties and responsibilities of warehouse associates and provides ongoing performance management, training and conducts timely formal performance appraisals for staff.
- Daily management of labor and the coaching of associates to achieve productivity expectation.
- Providing leadership and motivation within the warehouse to promote a culture reflective of our Mission, Vision, Values and Corporate Strategy.
- Perform personnel evaluations as needed.
- Conducts huddles (similar to mini department meetings)



daily - especially between shifts to communicate information to and from prior and later shifts.
- Ensure safety is a number one consideration on the warehouse floor.
- Observe and correct all unsafe conditions that could cause associate or customer accidents.
- Record and report all associate and employees accidents in accordance with established JicaFoods procedures.
- Complete projects as assigned.
- Fill in various warehouse positions when staffing is short.
- Performs additional duties, responsibilities and projects as assigned.
