As a Lead Shopify Developer, you will translate client requirements into technical development, design schemas, and integrate with content management solutions and search engines, unlocking the business value of new technologies.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop a great Digital Consumer experience based on a foundation of Shopify.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on all website preparation and all site updates
- Assist with requirements definition, specifications, vendor selections, design, development, and timelines for key initiatives
- Ensure a smooth connection with Marketing Tools, Platform APIs, and Shopify Apps to optimise the shop for overall efficiency and functionality
- Assist with code reviews and pull requests
- Diagnose and solve technical problems related to commerce implementation
- Define best practices to implement non-functional requirements like performance and scalability of the e-commerce solution




- As Senior specialist, mentor and train Junior/Middle developers
**Qualifications**
- You have at least 5 years of web development experience;
- Broad shop construction, launch, and maintenance expertise, as well as a general understanding of the admin system;
- Previous experience implementing/debugging third-party Shopify apps, as well as building unique solutions if needed. Working knowledge of third-party services and APIs, as well as Shopify plugins
- In-depth knowledge and expertise with vanilla JavaScript, jQuery, ES2015/ES6, and current JavaScript frameworks;
- Working experience with Docker, Varnish, Redis, ElasticSearch or Solr.
- HTML 5, CSS 3 - would be considered as an advantage
- Working knowledge of Shopify's object/properties, AJAX API, and Meta fields
- Good English, both, written and spoken
- Any DEV-oriented certification is an advantage
- Client-facing experience is a huge plus.
