**Job Description Summary**: PLM Configuration Control Board Chairperson (CCB) develops and maintains certification/ qualification/validation of a baseline product structure and manages changes in compliance with regulatory requirements while meeting business, production, field, and technical objectives. The discipline is a blend of technical, program and configuration management elements.
**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain certification/ qualification/validation of a baseline product structure and manage changes in compliance with regulatory requirements while meeting business, production, field, and technical objectives.
- Acts as a product steward for product lines and own change-in-design process from ideation and creation through certification/qualification /validation and change issuance.
- Act as an integral part of PCB board providing direction on change class and introduction point, considering sequence of changes, as well as business needs.
- Accelerate the execution of configuration changes ensuring they are compliant with GE internal policies, engineering standards and regulatory agencies requirements.
- Provide training and guidance for change document execution for all organizations
- Be the final word expert on all configuration control questions within the business.
**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or technology.
- Experience in systems engineering
- Design Engineering, Project Management or Configuration Management experience
- Knowledge of turbofan engine architecture and/or manufacturing process
- Ability to execute projects working with distributed, general team.
- Strong communication, presentation & interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, under pressure and changing requirements.
- Ability to influence teams.

- Design or Systems integration experience
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
