**How You’ll Make an Impact**
- Develop project design criteria for substations/switchyards (development of main one line and station auxiliary one-line diagrams, general arrangement, layout and elevation drawings, trench and conduit design and grounding drawings).
- Supporting 3D Design for Proposals and conceptual designs for pricing purposes. Perform electrical engineering design and calculations.
- Perform cable ampacity, grounding, lightning, illumination, and station auxiliary load calculations. Create equipment specifications and detail bill of materials.
- Develop Conceptual Layouts for HVDC and SVC. Support Marketing and Project teams in the execution of a project and in customer meetings, ensures that the engineering deliverables meet the target schedule dates, inform the Project Manager of possible delays or risk in the project.
- Supporting camera and Gas density Monitor design.
- Review manufacturer's documentation. Develop engineering execution plans in support of a particular project schedule, identify, notify, and provide solutions on potential problems that may adversely impact safety, reliability, cost, and schedule on a project. Perform special assignments and provide technical advice around expertise.
- Responsibility to comply and / or enforce the protocols, policies, and guidelines of the current integral management system (EHS, Quality).
**What You Bring**
- University Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- 1 or more-year experience with a focus on primary electrical design for high voltage substations.
- Fluent English Language
- Knowledge on ANSI standards,



IEC standards knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with equipment typically used in substation.
- Familiar with Auto-CAD or Micro-Station.
- Professional Engineering license preferred.
- Good communication skills, teamwork and self-driven
