**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain and enhance company-owned websites.
- Handle specialized and ad hoc requests for research, technical information, and customized solutions.
- Develop solutions to problems using a disciplined development process.
- Quickly and independently learn new technologies and evaluate new plugins and tools.
- Research best practices and recommend solutions.
- Design using the latest WordPress environment and follow best practices in development, testing, and deployment.
- Code WordPress themes and plugins from scratch.
**Qualifications**
- 4 to 7 years of demonstrated on-the-job programming experience
- 3 to 5 years of WordPress development experience
- In-depth knowledge of CSS, HTML5, and other front-end technologies
- Proficiency in web-based programming languages (JavaScript, PHP, etc.)
- Comfortable with both OOP and procedural programming methodologies




- Knowledge of database design and troubleshooting
- Experience with MySQL database management
- Experience with Elementor and Genesis Framework
- Expertise in WordPress, specifically:
- Child Themes
- Custom Post Types
- Advanced Custom Fields
- Syncing DEV and PROD environments
- Hooks/Actions/Filters
- Debugging/Security
- Ability to convert PSD mock-ups to posts and pages
- Basic SEO knowledge
- Familiarity with responsive design and website speed optimization
**Basic Requirements**
- **Device Specifications**: Intel i5 processor or higher with a minimum of 8GB RAM
- **Equipment**: Webcam, speakers, and a microphone or headphones
- **Internet Speed**: Minimum of 100Mbps with a backup connection for outages
