The Process & Maintenance Engineer ECU (TE/BE) is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) production processes. This critical role involves leading a team of local technicians and ensuring the efficient implementation of High Technology and highly automated Assembly systems for Automotive Safety Electronics Units.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide strategic leadership to a team of local technicians, ensuring optimal support for ECU production operations.
- Oversee the implementation and integration of Highly Automated Technologies for the assembly of Electronics control units, guaranteeing seamless incorporation into existing production lines.
- Develop and refine specialized software, programs and mechatronics devices essential for the successful launch of new products, with a focus on meeting stringent customer quality requirements, minimizing costs, and maximizing manufacturability.
- Establish and maintain rigorous process specifications to ensure consistent product quality and operational efficiency.
- Implement continuous performance improvement initiatives and cost reduction strategies within the area of responsibility, driving operational excellence and maintaining competitiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-sites teams to address complex technical challenges and implement innovative solutions in ECU Assembly Semiautomated and Automated Systems relative to ECU production processes.




- Ensure strict adherence to automotive industry standards and quality control measures throughout all stages of production in area of responsibility.
**Profile**:
- Bachelor's degree: in electro mechanical, electrical or electronic Engineering
- Intermediate English
- Experience:
- In a high volume manufacturing environment
- Machine diagnostic
- People management
- Problem Solving methodologies
- Knowledge
- In Electricity, Electronic and Pneumatic
- Programing (basic)
