**What You'll Do**
The Staff Accountant is responsible for carrying out most of the day-to-today accounting functions of a rapidly growing organization, maintaining the general ledger, reconciling accounts and preparing financial statements for management, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and local principles, performs a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility. The role reports to the Country Financial Controller.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Ownership of Purchase to Pay and Order to cash accounting.
- Reconciling bank, credit card and ecommerce payment processor statements.




- Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances.
- Conducting the monthly and annual close processes.
- Preparation of recurring and ad-hoc journal entries and various account analysis.
- Facilitating the audit schedules, financial statements and aiding in preparing reports for management.
- Supporting the budgeting/forecasting process as well as Budget Vs Presente analysis.
- Development and continuous improvement of the workflow and approval processes and procedures on a cross functional basis workflow processes and procedures with other departments.
- Fixed assets, accruals, prepaids, intangibles as well as related depreciation and amortization.
- Other accounting and finance projects to drive operational efficiencies.

**What You'll Have**
- Degree in accounting / finance preferred.
- 3+ years working in general accounting.
- Must have experience and an understanding of US GAAP & US tax regulations.




- Experience in using Shopify and BrightPearl preferred
- Excellent computer skills with knowledge of common bookkeeping and spreadsheet programs
- Team player with a commitment to having a positive impact
- Professional manner and a strong ethical code
- Data accuracy and attention to detail
