**What you’ll be doing**:




- Serve as a data strategist to identify and integrate new and existing datasets that can be used throughout product and process lifecycles.
- Work closely with the data engineers and IT teams in the development of data products to align with organization goals.
- Complete analytical experiments to assist in problem-solving across various processes and organizations.
- Build predictive and statistical models and machine-learning algorithms to mine big-data stores; perform data and error analysis to improve models; clean and validate data for quality, uniformity and accuracy.
- Ensuring the efficiency of data models through rigorous testing and analysis
- Interpret and analyze data for trends and patterns and interpret data with clear objectives in mind to provide actionable information.
- Presenting the results and suggestions to relevant parties by using easily understandable visuals and concise reports.
- Improving data collection procedures to include all relevant information for developing analytic systems
**What you'll be having**:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Data Science, statistics, applied mathematics, IT/STEM or a related field
- 8 years experience as a Data Scientist or similar IT role
- Ability to prior mentorship to other data scientists on the team
- 5+ years of confirmed experience in Pharma and/or Medical Device Industry or other regulatory environment preferred
- Advanced coursework in machine learning and programming recommended.
- Hands-on experience with data science tools
**Nice to have**:
- Experience working with medical devices.
