We are seeking a **Lead 3rd Line / Software Maintenance Engineer** to join our Unreal Engine Infrastructure team within the gaming industry.
**Responsibilities**
- Lead the investigation of existing CI/CD solutions and identify critical areas for improvement
- Design and oversee the implementation of advanced CI/CD strategies
- Automate manual workflows to boost efficiency and implement long-term sustainability
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and runbooks for newly implemented solutions
- Present sophisticated solutions and high-level recommendations to customers
- Work autonomously and manage multiple projects without direct supervision
- Collaborate closely with team members and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of processes
- Provide expert recommendations based on extensive experience with various automation projects
**Requirements**:
- In-depth theoretical and practical knowledge of CI/CD, encompassing recent market trends, common pitfalls, and best practices
- Advanced proficiency in administering complex CI/CD solutions
- Extensive production experience with AWS and VMware
- Capability to write scripts in Bash, PowerShell, and Python
- Experience with Ansible and advanced usage of Hashicorp tools such as Terraform, Packer, Vault, and Consul
- Familiarity with version control workflows using Git and Perforce
- Ability to work independently and interface directly with customers
