**Automation Tech - TN Visa**
**Work Location**: Scranton, Pennsylvania, USA
**Visa Requirements**: Must meet the qualifications to obtain a **TN Visa** for working in the United States.

**Position Summary**:
**Essential Functions/Key Deliverables**:
- Troubleshoot and provide technical support for automated manufacturing processes and equipment, including line control and robotic systems.
- Specify and procure related replacement parts and maintenance contracts.
- Evaluate and test new or modified software programs to ensure they meet user requirements and established guidelines.
- Assist in procuring and integrating new equipment and modifying automation software for material handling, production processing, and packaging equipment.
- Create and maintain hardware documentation for all automation equipment.
- Develop or modify programs for process control, robotics, and HMI’s.
- Maintain current backup programs for control processors, robotics, HMI’s, and data systems.




- Conduct technology research and provide recommendations.
- Install and configure new hardware and software, offering training and support as necessary.
**Requirements**:
- **Degree Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree or **(TSU)** in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Mechanics
**Experience & Skills**:
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in programming and troubleshooting with PLC automation and related controls.
- Proven experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
- Extensive knowledge of **Allen Bradley PLC systems** and **Systems Control Technologies**.
- Strong skills in programming and modifying PLC’s, HMI’s, and automation systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, vendors, and management at all levels.
- Excellent communication, project management, and technical skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and develop training materials for management, technicians, and users.
- Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
Pay: $500.00 - $600.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Work Location: In person
