The Power BI Developer will play a pivotal role as the exclusive Power BI expert on our Delivery Reporting & Metrics team. Supported by a dedicated operational team for requirements definition, workload management, and prioritization, you will assume ownership and accountability for delivering high-quality data and impactful reports.
- Responsibilities: Develop and manage Power BI datasets, ensuring data quality and consistency
- Build efficient data models using Power Query and DAX
- Perform data cleansing, transformation, and manipulation to meet reporting requirements
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards tailored to business needs
- Create custom visuals, drill-through reports, and dynamic elements within reports
- Optimize reports for performance, ensuring scalability for large datasets
- Advise on best practices in utilizing Copilot for report creation
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Provide guidance on best practices for creating business intelligence solutions
- Deliver ongoing support to business users, including troubleshooting and resolving any Power BI-related issues
- Integrate data from various sources, including JIRA, Gitlab, Excel, APIs, and cloud services
- Ensure the consistency and accuracy of data from multiple sources through effective integration techniques




- Optimize Power BI models for performance using best practices, including efficient DAX calculations and data storage techniques
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in dashboards and reports
- Requirements: Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power Query, and Power BI Service
- Strong knowledge of DAX for creating calculated measures and columns
- Experience with data visualization best practices and storytelling through data
- Ability to connect Power BI to various data sources, such as JIRA, Gitlab, Excel, cloud services, etc.
- Experience using Fabric data warehouses
- Experience utilizing Copilot for developing Power BI reports
- Experience with data modeling, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data warehousing concepts
- Strong understanding of databases, including JIRA, Gitlab, and relational database concepts
- Knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics, JIRA, Gitlab, or other Microsoft tools for BI
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve data and reporting issues
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Detail-oriented and capable of delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently and collaborate with different departments
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
