**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Review and verify the credentials of healthcare providers, including education, training, and licensure.
- Maintain accurate records of all credentialing activities and ensure compliance with established standards.
- Communicate with healthcare providers to obtain necessary documentation and clarify any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with various departments to facilitate timely credentialing processes.
- Stay updated on changes in medical terminology, managed care regulations, and credentialing standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of credentialing policies and procedures.
**Experience**:
- At least 1 year of credentialing experience
- Experience with multi-state Medicaid credentialing and enrollment processes.
- Experience in state licensing for MDs, DOs, and NPs.
**Technical Skills**:
- Proficiency with credentialing software and databases.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

- Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records and manage documentation.

- Excellent communication skills for interacting with medical staff, regulatory bodies, and insurance companies.
