**YOUR ROLE**
- Fluent English communication
- The DevOps Engineer / Release Manager will be responsible for managing repositories, enforcing versioning guidelines, and overseeing release management activities for a development team working on a new app project.
- The project involves high-performance microservices and an event-driven architecture.
- The engineer’s focus will be on product quality, rapid feature integration, and stability of previously released features
**YOUR PROFILE**
- Version Control and Repository Management: o Proficiency in Git and Git workflows (e.g., Gitflow, GitHub Flow).
- Experience with Git repository management tools (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket). o Ability to enforce versioning guidelines and best practices.
- Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
- Mastery of CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of build automation, unit testing, and code quality checks.
- Ability to automate deployment processes for microservices.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): o Strong understanding of IaC principles using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in Docker for containerization.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Familiarity with rollback strategies.
- Understanding of security best practices for CI/CD pipelines.
- Awareness of compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, pytest).
- Experience with incident management tools (e.g., PagerDuty, OpsGenie)
