**The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the plant production equipment in operation in a safe / efficient condition. He or she will install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production equipment according to safety and keeping the original standard of the equipments by executing preventive and corrective maintenance systems and processes.**
**Core responsibilities**:
- **Installation and de-installation of manufacturing equipment.**
- **Diagnostic tasks and repair of various production equipment, following the best LOTO safety practices and minimizing downtime due to equipment breakdown.**
- **Carry out preventive maintenance tasks to keep equipment in optimal conditions.**
- **Work together with the Maintenance and Process Engineers to identify equipment improvements to increase their availability and / or productivity.**
- **Read and interpret equipment manuals, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and work instructions to perform required maintenance and services.**
