We are looking for a **Lead Business Analyst**to join our team.
**Responsibilities**
- Analyze COBOL programs to capture program logic, business rules, data mapping, lineage, and system dependencies
- Collaborate with SMEs and technical teams to review and finalize reverse-engineered documentation
- Coordinate and lead documentation review sessions and obtain sign-offs from SMEs
- Support the rationalization of features, simplification of designs, and re-engineering of components for the new technology stack
- Create business process flows and models based on reverse engineering and SME input
- Advise on modern system design to ensure alignment with business goals
- Act as a bridge between business and technical teams to keep project objectives aligned
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, validate information, and refine deliverables
- Communicate project updates, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders and leadership
- Maintain traceability between legacy and future-state systems
- Ensure timely completion of deliverables and adherence to fixed-fee contract milestones
- Assist with quality assurance to ensure deliverables meet required standards
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business analysis or a similar role
- At least one year of experience leading and managing development teams
- Technical expertise in API specifications and backend systems
- Experience supporting product teams with story and feature management
- Ability to understand product features, their value, and user interactions, and communicate these to product teams
- Proficient in story slicing for delivering requirements to Agile teams
- Experience working with Product Owners and stakeholders to define Epics, MVPs, and iterative delivery plans
- Ability to participate in technical grooming sessions with technology teams




- Comfortable being on video for meetings as needed
- Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken, at B2+ level or higher
**Nice to have**
- Experience developing Data Flow Diagrams
- Knowledge of trade reconciliation processes
