**About the Role**
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support our financial operations in Mexico. This role is responsible for day-to-day accounting activities, tax compliance, and accurate financial reporting in line with local regulations.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain accurate daily accounting records (AP/AR, expenses, bank, cash)
- Process and manage invoices, receipts, and supporting documentation
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure data accuracy
- Prepare and submit monthly and annual tax filings in compliance with Mexican regulations
- Prepare financial reports (Trial Balance, P&L;, Cash Flow)
- Execute local and international bank transfers
- Support payroll processing and related reporting
- Maintain VAT (IVA) records and compliance
- Manage fixed assets and related accounting entries
- Prepare reports and documentation for banks and external stakeholders




- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and tax laws
- Assist with contracts and financial documentation as needed
- Perform other duties assigned by the Finance Manager
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience in accounting and tax compliance in Mexico
- Familiarity with local tax regulations (SAT, IVA, ISR)
- Experience with accounting software/ERP systems
- Intermediate to advanced English
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
