Overview
A Snapshot of Your Day: A day in the life of the role of GT SV North America Risk Manager includes advisement to peers regarding contractual risk management for service proposals and projects; review, draft, and negotiation of critical service contracts with external customers; and participation and consultation in internal project bidding risk approval processes. It is a collaborative role that interacts with multiple layers of Grid Technologies Service organizational structure to provide a wholistic review and support of project risk management. Open collaboration with finance, legal, commercial and project execution teams is a core focus for any successful Risk Manager.

How You’ll Make An Impact
- Ensure project bidding excellence through risk management review
- Draft, review, and negotiate Master Procurement Agreements for Substation Service Business
- Maintain internal risk approval hierarchy and record keeping as related to contractual risk
- Internal alignment with Financial, Legal,



and Project execution on risk assessment to capture and manage overall project risk potential through execution phase
- Evaluate with sales (PSS) ways GT SV can use terms already established with customers in other Siemens Energy service businesses
- Work with finance and sales to accurately forecast and articulate risk in long term service contracts

What You Bring
- Degree in Marketing, Sales, or Project Risk Management (Project Management/Contract Management) background
- 8+ year’s experience in Contract negotiations, project risk review, utility, industrial, and project development (renewable) sales
- Excellent collaboration skills and cooperative communication style
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Excellent knowledge in contractual risk management. Effective at legal and commercial contractual negotiations
