**SEND Teacher - Nurture Room**

Are you a dedicated and compassionate teacher with experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?
Our client, a welcoming and close-knit Birmingham primary school, is seeking a qualified **SEND Teacher** to work in their Nurture Room on alternate Fridays.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school community where staff work collaboratively to make a real difference to children's learning and wellbeing.
With no planning required, you'll be able to focus on delivering engaging and meaningful sessions that nurture confidence, independence, and positive relationships.
**Key Responsibilities**:




- Deliver high-quality teaching and support to small groups of pupils within the Nurture Room.
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment tailored to individual needs.
- Use strategies to support children with SEND/SEMH needs and challenging behaviours.
- Collaborate effectively with class teachers, SENCo, and support staff to meet pupil needs.
**Requirements**:
- UK QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification).
- Previous experience teaching pupils with SEND/SEMH.
- Strong curriculum knowledge and ability to adapt teaching approaches.
- Experience working with Autism, ADHD and Non-Verbal Students
- Right to work in the UK and Enhanced DBS (on the update service or willingness to apply).
