- 5-7 years of experience as a backend engineer, with a strong focus on Express.js and Node.js Deep knowledge of REST API design principles and best practices Proven experience in integrating and managing multiple third-party APIs/services Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, error handling, and API versioning Familiarity with OAuth2, JWT, and other modern authentication methods Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) Strong debugging and testing skills, including experience with tools like Postman, Jest, or Mocha Proficient in using Git, working in an agile environment, and using tools like Jira or Trello Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
