Bachelors or Technical Degree (minimum) or Professional (incomplete)
- Skills in automotive electronics and mechanics are required.
Programming and CAD skills are optional.
- Working knowledge of data collecting devices including but not limited to: data loggers, microcontrollers, dedicated laboratory equipment.
- Knowledge of various physics measurement concepts such as: position, speed, acceleration, force, voltage, current, pressure and temperature.
- Solid organizational skills including proven ability to multi-task and maintain project deadlines
- Ability to work independently and communicate results with solid verbal and written skills
- Proficient in utilizing MS Office tools (Excel, Word. Outlook, SharePoint)
- Willingness to learn new testing techniques.
- Follow metrology test procedures, understanding the importance of not generating deviations.
- Communicate needs to Prototype Workshop, Storage and Testing Garage, keeping the work flow steady.
- Run automated tests, keeping record of the test conditions, files and results.
- Perform vehicle, system or subsystem 3D scanning tests
- Drive vehicles and evaluate any instrumentation quality concern that might affect the test, safety or development purposes.
- Practice and promote safe working habits and maintain a clean working environment as 5S ́s and Visual Factory in their working areas and within the laboratory.
- Maintain and control the supplies and resources to support daily work.
- Train new team members in testing techniques, equipment, testing hardware and data analysis software.
- Possess and promote a positive attitude, proactivity and performs other duties as assigned.
- Able and willing to work off shifts, days off and weekends as necessary.
